The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is conducting a big University Expansion program. Prince Mohamed Bin Fahad University in the Eastern province of KSA is relatively new and is recruiting English Language teachers, ESOL, EFL. With the current exchange rates their salaries are OK and their holidays pretty good.
The new university in Hail in the North of Saudi Arabia is apparently paying 190 thousand Saudi Riyals P/A and also has good holidays.
An older established University in the The Eastern Region is KFUPM, King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals. They recruit EFL ESOL/ English Language teachers. They offer a decent salary, overtime and good holidays. It is also worth considering that KFUPM and Prince Mohamed Bin Fahad University are in The Eastern Region of KSA and very near Bahrain which is useful for RnR purposes.
The universities in KSA offer opportunities to both young teachers and to those who are over 60 which can be a problem in some English Language Schools. The universities also employ female teachers, which is unusual in KSA.
ARAMCO is sometimes on the look out for Medical staff, nurses and secretaries etc to work in Saudi Arabia

The salary has improved by several hundred pounds per month taking the it to over 30 thousand pounds a year. This increase, if it is true, is well overdue. It is unclear if SMART Specialists International Ltd is also recruiting for other Libyan Oil Companies such as , Agip, Zuitania, Veba etc. The contact person at SMART Specialists International Ltd is probably a Ms M Dean

The American University of Kabul in Afghanistan has gone through some changes and is recruiting. They used to offer a decent package. P.I The Petroleum Institute in The Emirates is recruiting and offering a decent salary. The problem is there are two Petroleum Institutes. One offers a very good package the other is not so good. -
Another Libyan oil company, which employs
EFL/ESOL teachers is called Veba.
They have an operation in the field at Ghani, near Zilla or Zella. There main training centre is at Amal.
