Brega
or Marsa Al Brega is in Libya, North Africa. It is on the
Mediterranean coast. It is about a 1000 km east of Tripoli,
the capital of Libya. Many expatriate workers have lived in
Brega on the the big oil refinery there. As well as the Oil Refinery there is a Gas Plant, Ammonia Plant, Naptha Plante, A Marina for Oil Tankers, Power Station and Deslaination Plant. |

Marsa
Al Brega is home to the one of the biggest oil refineries
in North Africa. Libyan oil is known as Light Sweet Crude
oil and is easily refined into many chemical by products
for agriculture and industry. The oil refinery is a chemical
plant with a Naphtha plant, an Ammonia Plant, A Gas Plant, and two Ammonia Plants. The
smoke from the gas plant sometimes blocks out the sky
line and trails away into the distance African horizion. |
