We left Slontah and headed for Tocra in the foothills of the Green Mountain. Tocra is about 1100km  east of Tripoli, the capital of Libya. When we arrived the museum, originally a Byzantine church with outbuildings, was closing but we walked around the grounds and up onto the roof of a Byzantine church over-looking the sea. It was dark so no photographs were taken. As we left we had an argument with the man. He insisted that we should pay even though we had not been in the museum. We refused and headed off to Benghazi. However, despite our lack of success there it seems an interesting place worth visiting
